A gorgeous life!

Day 10 Challenge: I want you to think back to the journey you’ve been on in the last 10 days. I encourage you to read through all your posts to celebrate all that you’ve written, learned and experienced as part of this daily blog challenge. And in today’s blog post, I want you to write about:
·What you enjoyed most about your experience of taking part in the blog challenge
·Your favorite challenge day and why
·The biggest takeaway you’ve had from it
·The next step you’re going to take to make your freedom plan a reality

This has been an exercise in time blocking that’s for certain! Part of what I’m doing as a part of my freedom plan is spending more time with my gorgeous family, and less time there but not present and more working more effectively (as per previous posts!) I want to be a hugely positive role model for my lovely children, and a steady ongoing influence on them.

To this end, what I’ve been doing is spending less time online, spending no time online on the weekend and doing work in the evenings or when I have the children in care. This means time block - I grab hold of a task, then I shake it by the scruff and do as much as I can all in one period of time. Tonight, I’ve written four blog posts.

I’ve really enjoyed this blog challenge as it’s helped me get clear on what is really important to me. I made sure I spent time with my 4yo daughter doing art and while we were drawing together, I was inspired to create a small piece of art that to me signifies the relationship between them all.

This has been super important for me and even though it’s a small piece of art, it’s on the fridge and it reminds me what is important, multiple times every day. I’m at the centre and then everything else spins out from there, TW, the kids, my family, my tribe and business, plus all the rest. There is so much to it and it can be everything and anything, but it is an important reminder and when I add meditation into my life then it makes the relative importance of everything even more clear. Self-care hasn’t always been my forte, so this series of exercises have been great.

My favourite day was probably finding my superpower – it was empowering and again helped me get clear on what I want to do. I also found out what my family think of me, and that was uplifting.

So, going forward:

  • I’m going to keep with some imperfect regular action to increase my reach to my tribe, with lots of videos and posts to help them improve their performance.

  • I’m going to stop procrastinating and start my next app by employing a developer.

  • I’m going to be streamlined with my worktime and do what I need to and nothing else so I can spend this marvellous gift of a time with my children before they disappear, and I’m going to make sure that we have lots of delicious soul filling experiences and adventures so our life is a memorable one, that links us and keeps us close now and in the future.

My piece of refrigerator art that tells me what is important - every day.
